Tec Deep is an organisation based on the Egyptian Red Sea coast specialising in technical diver training from entry level tec diver up to tec instructor.

We have a team of very experienced technical diving Instructors and Instructor Trainers on our staff, offering  IANTD, PSAI and DSAT/PADI TecRec  courses, to suit a variety of learning abilities and individual needs. In addition to this, we offer technical diver training in both Open Circuit and Closed Circuit Rebreathers (CCRs).

The foundation of Tec Deep is to create leading technical divers and technical instructors with an accurate approach, attitude, technique and of course the right “spirit”. The switch from recreational to technical diving has many waypoints, all of which have to be mastered to be able to safely dive and teach.

Technical diving doesn’t mean only depth: it is much more than this. In fact it is a way of exploring previously unexplored sites such as deep walls or cave systems, of breathing different gases, of extending the no decompression-limits and, in particular with a CCR, of getting much closer to marine life without disturbing the underwater creatures.

There are plenty of reasons to "go" technical and for any one of us it may be a different reason. The main points are having the right attitude and training to progress. If you want to be good you have to be taught in the best way.

Technical diving is not for everybody and is absolutely not a subsequent step after recreational. It is beyond this and is a parallel path into the blue. Good physical and mental condition, intensive preparation and training are all very important components required to achieve this level.
