The first question which will maybe pass in your mind is: what is Technical Diving?
Technical Diving is diving other than conventional, commercial and research diving. This kind of diving takes divers beyond the recreational limits and involves different situations and environments. As for example diving in overhead environments, deeper than 40 meters, different breathing gasses, required decompression, etc.
What has to be clear from the beginning is the philosophy. Technical diving is not for everyone, and is not another goal to achieve. The program will not appeal to everybody but for sure there will be divers interested in the challenge and emotion to discover a new area in diving and want to expand their knowledge beyond the recreational diving.
This "special kind" of diving involves a higher level of knowledge and an intensive training, due to the more difficult tasks which are sometimes required during the dives.
