The International Association of Nitrox and Technical Divers (IANTD) has been at the forefront of technical diver training for over 20 years. Formed by the fusion of the European Association of Technical Divers (EATD) and the International Association of Nitrox Divers (IAND) and originally founded by Dick Rutkowski, the former dive supervisor for the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), it was the first training agency to offer an Enriched Air Nitrox (EANx) certification years ahead of other agencies.

 

Today, the board of directors and the membership of IANTD are composed of many of the most experienced divers in the world pertaining to the use of breathing gases other than air.

 

From starting an entry level Open Water EANx Diver certification through to full Closed Circuit Rebreather (CCR) Trimix Instructor, IANTD has the training to suit all levels of diver. All IANTD programmes are designed to equip a diver with the skills and knowledge to become safe, responsible and self-reliant in a wide variety of environments from shallow coral reefs to deep caves.
